So, for every letter in the title of this blog (tomakeyoubelieve), I have uploaded a song that I love. Overall, the entire list should pretty much sum up my music tastes as of now. EACH SONG HAS A DOWNLOAD LINK.
I gotta say, I loved the season premiere. Don't wanna spoil it too much but, I'm totally in love with Jesse St. James already! And HELLO IDINA MENZEL (From Rent!). WOWWWWW I am sooo happy to see her! She is going to be so amazing on Glee!! I can't wait for the new episodes to come out.

so yesterday I was studying at the library and I overheard a girl saying "omgg Muse is performing and so is the XX (my new obsession, see below)". So I proceeded to tune into their conversation.

it's like my ipod personified in one, huge, amazing music festival .

Aside from remixes, mashups and downright awesome music, I generally have a thing for covers. Usually, though, I can decide whether or not I like the remake or the original better.
Enter: Cobrastyle.
The original was sung by a Swedish group called the Teddybears. It was featured in some tv commercial and it caught my eye, so I proceeded to download it about 3 years ago. So the song has been playing on my ipod for a while now and I've been grooving to it.
Last week, I went home, and my little sister had loaded up our itunes with a bunch of new songs. One being a cover of Cobrastyle by Robyn, also a Swedish artist. She is known for provocative songs such as "Konitchiwa Bitches" (a personal classic fave for me). Her style of music is definitely unique, she's a semi-rapper singer with sassy lyrics and a weird, but intriguing accent (she tries to sound American but you can still hear traces of her Swedish accent). Her cover is, just (?) as good...I think.
just a warning, i gave up facebook until exam season is over so this is my only channel for boredom. Expect long, overly researched blogs. Sucks to be you! /sarcasm.

2) As you all know, I'm a big supporter of rising youtube stars, and this guy, even though he doesn't need any more subscribers, needs (I think) a different type of fan base. He started out as a regular old video maker (e.g. random little skits and lipsync videos), but as of late he's been really working hard on some GREAT mash-ups. Lucky for him, I'm in my mash-up phase right now (♥ White Panda ♥)so I thought I'd reupload his song on here!
Oh, his youtube name is WasteTimeChasingCars. He has one more mash-up to date but it's not as good as this one!
wow i'm still really bitter. It's insane. It feels like, in retrospect, i JUST stopped being bitter about the last half of Summer 2009. Man, that was a damper... I don't even want to think about how shitty I felt back then.
And then September came along and turned my frown upside down. Ironically, my hopes being crushed for THIS September (2010) has turned that frown the right side up again.
maybe I'm just a really bitter person?

I think I've started to annoy the people around me with all my spiteful and snide remarks about a certain group of people whose company really irks me right about now. First it was tears, then anger, and now it's a weird combination of the two that actually feels like pure disgust.

have you ever had it where, there's one thing in your life that is this giant downer, and no matter HOW happy you are, something reminds you of that one thing and your mood just goes right back down into the dungeon? yeah, i have that one thing.
the next year is going to be torture, because, as amazing as i can try to make it, for one whole year that one thing will be slowly, painfully, torturing me. non stop for one entire year.
example: i'm home. I'm happy. I go on facebook, see pictures. BAM. there it is. and now i'm close to tears again.
