more jumbles and rants.

wow, so its been almost 2 months since my last post! my life's been turned upside down, right side up and upside down again (in the past couple of days).

My summer was shitty starting the last week of July and I was pretty much consumed by its shitty-ness for the remainder of August. I really didn't do anything except for eat, sleep, work and go to debut practice.

My summer ended with a bang, with my best friends 18th Debutante Ball. It was a great way to say goodbye to all my high school friends, plus we had an amazing after party at the hotel suite!

So a couple of weeks ago I moved in to university, and it's pretty much been a whirlwind from there on. Frosh week (called O-week here) was friggen awesome! There's so much school spirit and lots, LOTS of parties. I also love meeting new people (namely, hot guys) every day ;)

While thats all good and fun, I also have lots of classes to go to (I just finished a lecture and have a tutorial in about an hour..) Thus, I gotta get my shit together. Partying is quite a distraction I have to admit. I've made friends already and I LOVE my floormates. Let's see how long that goes on for! haha.

MOVING ON, the real reason I decided to blog was because the 2 artists that I most want to see in concert have new albums out! Which means they might come to Canada for tours!

David Guetta - One Love

So, you probably know I've been pretty excited for this album to come out. This man is a friggen genius! His collaborations with so many popular artists, namely Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi and Will.I.Am, have made his songs world renowned. Not to mention, his songs are often the background to all these awesome university parties I go to ;) As for seeing him in concert, firstly his shows in Canada are 19+ (I need ID), and secondly he's only touring Europe for now. Here's hoping he adds another leg to his tour (yn)

Muse - The Resistance

Muse, being my favourite band of all fucking time, has a new album out! Although it's not my personal favourite, it's still been the soundtrack of my study time for the past week or so. My fave track? Undisclosed Desires. Check it out, nukkas. UNFORTUNATELY, they are only going as far as NYC for their tour, which upsets me so much because it's my dream to see them live! Oh well, I guess there'll be a next time.

***SPOILER WARNING***

oh, and i almost forgot! The season finale of TRUE BLOOD finally arrived, and it was awesome, I was pretty happy with the conclusion, especially since Maryann's finally out the picture. ugh. I loathed her.

SECONDLY, Gossip Girl Season 3 premiered! Finally! I waited so long. I'm gonna say I wasn't exactly impressed. The episode was kind of all over the place, but I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the season and how these plots develop. I would like to point out that the dresses in this episode were absolutely stunning! I will do a review (and possibly a fashion comparison thingy) later!

This was a good digression from my studies, but I really do need to get to my next class!
