original vs. remix

maybe its because I think David Guetta is a god and his music is perfect as it is, but i think Fergie and LMFAO killed "Gettin' Over".

LMFAO killed (not in a good way) the best part: the Room Build.

ugh.

don't get me wrong, I love a good LMFAO song to pump up the party but Guetta can also pump up a party, without their help.

maybe its because I've been partying to the original Gettin' Over since the album came out last summer? I don't know.

you can decide for yourself:

THE ORIGINAL:

//OR//

GG Season Finale!

SPOILER ALERT

kay, where the eff do I start?

All the Single Ladies. Serena and Nate are over and so are Chuck and Blair (tear tear), so now the bffls are single! What a game changer. I definitely saw Nate and Serena breaking up, they were too beautiful to be true. But I was SOOOOOO excited for Chuck and Blair to get back together. Seeing Ed Westwick get all mushy gives me the warm fuzzies! Arrghh I guess I'll have to wait till next season to see what happens there. I bet you there's going to be a ton of fun summer scandal in Paris. It is the city of love, after all. Not to mention the hint of a renewal of the whole Dan and Serena phase! Just as I'd gotten used to the notion of the two of them being step-siblings, they're falling for each other again? yeck. Does anyone see a Nate-Vanessa thing happening again? Or is that just me? Why else would he send Vanessa that picture from the GG Blast? The man's got motive.
Jenny from the Block. So little Jenny, aka Taylor Momsen, is leaving the show as a permanent cast member but will be returning as a regular next season. Her decision to leave only arose during the last episode, but one could say it was being built up for a while now. But really, was this the best decision for her? Or was her rebellious behaviour just used by the GG writers as a scapegoat for her leaving? Maybe it was the fact that I knew this already, but the "rushed" decision to ship Jenny off to Hudson to be with her mom seemed like it didn't quite fit in with the rest of the plot. Vanessa's trip to Haiti, however, was a much more subtle write-off.

Baby love. Whilst Dorota having her baby was a heartfelt and genuine moment on the show for many of the main characters, it was the pregnant Georgina within the last 5 minutes of the episode that really caught everyone's attention. She kept popping in at awkward times throughout the episode but her stomach was carefully concealed, revealed only to Dan at the end of the show. Maaan, this really changes things. There's so much to discuss from this. Will Dan give up his pursuit of Serena (as he was shown looking up tickets to Paris just before Georgina burst in). Could this be another crafty ploy by Georgina to mess up the lives of those on the Upper East Side? What on earth is going to happen with this baby?

Give me the BASS Line.Chuck, chuck, CHUCK! Gossip Girl took a whole new O.C.-esque turn at the end of this season's finale by having Chuck Bass get mugged and shot when in Prague. The muggers took the ring that he planned on giving to Blair before the whole Jenny fiasco broke out. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, writer Stephanie Savage says that Chuck and Blair aren't over and that the shooting lays the seeds for the new Chuck-Blair drama. Will Blair take him back? I'm guessing she'll have some sort of epiphany about how much she really loves Chuck once she realizes what life would be like with him dead or something cheesey like that. Also, I might be jumping to things here, but if Gossip Girl is really trying to go the O.C. route, I think this might be their opportunity to throw the classic night soap opera twist of a COMA into the mix. A good coma always adds to the drama because no one knows if the character will actually wake up (which he probably will... I mean come on, it's Chuck Bass we're talking about here!). If they do decide to do this I might enjoy it but I might lose a little respect for the writers on account of their unoriginality. We'll just have to wait and see.

SATC2!

16 days.

I'm soo excited for the release of the new movie, I get chills every time I watch the trailer! I'm all prepped: I've just finished up the last season and I re-watched the movie. I gotta say, after watching six seasons of the show, the movie has a whole new meaning to it!

I'm SO excited to see what happens with Aidan, last we saw he was married with a kid. Samantha, she's the last single one left, will she settle down?! Any chance hunky Smith Jarred will return (I was soo sad when they broke up last movie, he was so perfect). Charlotte, I'm excited to see the little baby, and how family life is. I'm also very curious because I didn't see Steve anywhere in the trailers! What's going on there?! I'm getting a little sick of them breaking up. Maybe Miranda will come out on the show like Cynthia Nixon did in real life? That would be a twist.

You know whats kinda sad? I used to do this prep stuff for Harry Potter (like watching the previous movie/ reading the book) but now I'm doing it for Sex and the City. Oh how we grow up.

devils in disguise

I've never liked little dogs.

I never really had a reason for thinking so, however, until the other day.

I was on a run through the park by my house when I saw what appeared to be a very young girl (maybe 8-9 years old) walking a very small dog, whilst on her cellphone. My first thought was "Omg, I understand if parents let their kid walk a big dog, because at least the big dog will fend off any potential pedos, but surely this little girl is not safe walking this puney little puppy?!"

So I proceeded to jog past them, still thinking the same thing. The little girl didn't even notice me, she was too busy with her phone conversation. All of a sudden, the little mutt turns around and snaps at me and pretty much begins what could've been a hell of a chase! Luckily the little girl made him retreat.

My thoughts after: OHHHHHHHHHH. So that's how they let her out by herself.

That being said, I love me a beautiful golden retriever ♥.

Also, on that very run, I fell and scraped my knee, just like when I was 12 years old. beaut.

If/When I'm old and rich, I'm going to get extremely regular (like, every other day maybs) pedicures cuz apparently I would have nice feet if I took good care of them.
